Precision CNC turning is an integral division of Goldsboro Machine Works for custom parts in production quantities from one through many thousand. Our CNC lathes are capable of machining diameters of up to 9” and lengths of 15”. We specialize in a wide range of material, from soft plastics to tough steel alloys, to produce customer specific equipment components, such as nozzles, spacers, bolts, screws, nuts, rollers, and washers.

The Goldsboro facility features two-turret, two-spindle CNC turning centers that significantly reduce turnaround times by functioning as a one set-up operation. With the use of single and magazine barfeed systems, we utilize front and back processing and y-axis slide machining to achieve high volume batches that demand precision in their complex configurations.

We support the CNC turning operations with a full line of process equipment. The part preparation routines, such as saw cutting, tapping and MIG and TIG welding, maintain our high productivity rates. For low volume orders, we accommodate parts not requiring intricate CNC programming by using production and engine lathes with 20” x 96” capacity.
